    STATEMENT OF COURSE
    I.  General Nursing & Midwifery
    II. The course duration is 3 years
    III. Total seats 60.
     
    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
    Academic qualification:
     10 + 2 or its equivalent with 40% aggregate marks 
     10+2 vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
     ANM training i.e. 10+1 ½ training should also have passed +2 or its equivalent.
    •  5% relaxation in marks is permitted to SC/ST students.
     
    Personal and Social fitness:
    1. Age limit 17-35 years on 31st December of the year of Admission. For ANM/LHV there is no age bar.
    2. Candidate should be medically fit. (The institute will conduct medical examination of candidates.)
     
     
    RESERVATIONS:
    1. Total seat capacity 60.
    2. 3 seats will be reserved for each North Eastern States candidates sponsored by their government. 
    3. 10% of seats will be reserved for the candidates from Assam.
